TeaNovel's summer 2026 recap covers terminology guidance, supported source sites, private reading, EPUB imports, exports, and current plan limits.
Updated October 8, 2026. TeaNovel provides private Chinese-to-English reading, supported-site imports, terminology guidance, and Pro EPUB tools. This recap describes those workflows and their limits; use the product documentation for setup and the plans page for current allowances.
NoveLM uses per-novel terminology to help keep names, places, and recurring terms consistent. Readers can inspect the terminology list, but manual terminology editing is not available. The system can still make mistakes; report an affected translation through reader feedback.
The terminology guide explains how to review entries. We do not publish a measured reduction in name errors here because this article has no reproducible benchmark supporting such a number.
The extension supports JJWXC, Qidian, QDMM, Fanqie, Qimao, Zongheng, and SFACG. SFACG support is limited to free chapters. Source login, paid access, and complete chapter recovery remain prerequisites; support for a platform is not a promise that every page or chapter will be available.
Import supported-site chapters with SmartImporter and the desktop extension. Your books and reading history stay private to your account. TeaNovel does not publish a browsable catalog of user novels. See the extension guide.
Translation runs on the server, and the reader displays progress as output becomes available. Refreshing or reconnecting lets you observe an accepted operation again. Results depend on source completeness and model behavior, so a successful opening chapter does not guarantee a whole novel will translate without problems.
The reader offers reading settings and account progress sync. This article does not claim a per-user rendered-page CDN cache or a specific first-contentful-paint improvement; those earlier claims were not supported by the current implementation and retained evidence.
Chinese translation costs 1 credit per 100 source characters, rounded up per chapter, with a minimum of 1 credit. Free includes 1,000 monthly credits. Starter includes 10,000 monthly credits; Pro includes 50,000. See pricing for the complete feature comparison.
Translate All is available on Starter and Pro. Pro also supports text-based EPUB upload and TXT/EPUB export. Importing an EPUB and parsing its chapters do not spend translation credits; choose the chapter range and review the estimate before confirming. Current upload limits are 20 MiB, 5,000 chapters, and 10 million source characters. See EPUB upload and batch translation.
Per-novel terminology, supported-site capture, and the web reader remain part of TeaNovel. This revision removes unsupported library counts, performance figures, and release predictions. The linked product documentation describes current behavior.
No. The list is view-only; report an incorrect recurring name through reader feedback. See Terminology Basics.
Pro accounts can import a supported text EPUB, then select a translation range and confirm its estimate. Starter and Pro also provide Translate All for available chapters. Upload and translation are separate steps.
No. Your imported books, chapters, translations, and reading history are private. TeaNovel's public Blog and Docs are separate from user bookshelves.
Use the public Blog and product documentation. Do not rely on a dated announcement for current limits or assume that a roadmap item has shipped.
